The band has performed concerts at a variety of venues, including Colchester Castle park, Halstead park, Charter Hall and the London Royal Parks .The band also features at numerous fetes and fund raising events, and has also been on tour to Holland and Germany in recent years.

The Colchester band is a nationally registered 2nd Section band which competes in band competitions all around the United Kingdom .It has competed in the National Finals of the British Brass Band Championships of Great Britain on a number of occasions.
